2 cans Heinz beans in tomato sauce (imported from UK)
1 cup uncooked quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup ground/chopped walnuts
2 tsp arrowroot powder dissolved in 2 tsp warm water
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp Marmite yeast extract spread (you may substitute Vegemite or Dark Miso)
Spike seasoning
Sage
Mix all ingredients well, adding extra oats if it is not very thick. You may desire to mash the beans to a paste, but you do not have to. Pour into a well-greased loaf pan and bake in a preheated 450-degree (Fahrenheit) oven for 45 minutes. Serve over rice or potatoes with your favorite vegan gravy.
